Palm Welcomes Hyde & Seek, London Hyde Park to its Hospitality Portfolio
We’re delighted to announce the latest addition to Palm’s growing hospitality portfolio: Hyde & Seek, London Hyde Park, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, opening this September opposite one of London’s most iconic green spaces.
Following a £42 million transformation, the 309-room hotel brings a fresh new personality to Lancaster Gate, combining Victorian grandeur, Moroccan-inspired craftsmanship and a distinctly bohemian spirit. With design-led interiors, two new dining destinations and a prime location overlooking Hyde Park, Hyde & Seek offers a new take on the London hotel experience.
A New Chapter for Lancaster Gate
Located at 1 Lancaster Gate, Hyde & Seek sits on the doorstep of Hyde Park and within easy reach of Paddington, Mayfair and Oxford Street. Designed as a tranquil urban escape, the hotel balances the energy of the city with the calm of its park-side setting, while placing guests within walking distance of Kensington Palace, Marble Arch, Little Venice, Oxford Street and the West End.
The hotel’s interiors have been curated by acclaimed interior designer Goddard Littlefair, alongside architect Unwin Jones Partnership, drawing inspiration from the bohemian culture of the neighbourhood during the 1960s and 70s. Influences from creatives including Zandra Rhodes, Ossie Clark, David Hockney and David Hicks can be seen throughout the property, with bold colour pairings, rich textures and abstract patterns sitting alongside heritage detailing and Victorian architectural references.
A distinctive palette of reclaimed oak, honed white marble, antique brass and handcrafted Moroccan tiles adds warmth and character throughout, while greens and blues inspired by Hyde Park’s natural beauty bring the outdoors in.
309 Rooms and Suites
Guests can choose from 309 guestrooms and suites, each with its own distinctive design, combining vibrant interiors with modern furnishings. Every room features smart TVs, coffee machines, complimentary Grown Alchemist toiletries and stylish seating nooks, while suites offer more spacious layouts for enhanced comfort.
Family Hydeaway and Townhouse Suites also include Toto Washlet smart toilets, inspired by Japanese bathroom technology, with heated seats, integrated bidet functionality and personalised wash settings.
Two New Dining Destinations
Led by Executive Head Chef Ranjitkumar Sukumaran, Hyde & Seek will also debut two distinctive food and beverage concepts, designed to welcome both hotel guests and the local community.
Seekers Restaurant & Bar will offer a contemporary British dining experience overlooking Hyde Park, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. The menus will celebrate the best of seasonal British produce, reimagined through modern techniques and local flavours, alongside a spacious, speakeasy-inspired bar focused on inventive cocktails and relaxed social occasions.
Meanwhile, HydeOut, the hotel’s all-day café lounge and co-working space, will provide a relaxed setting for morning coffee, casual dining, meetings and evening drinks beneath a striking glass roof. Homemade cakes and treats, light bites and sharing plates will make it a flexible social hub for visitors and locals alike.
Beyond the guestrooms and dining spaces, guests can also make use of a fully equipped, state-of-the-art gym featuring premium Life Fitness equipment, as well as two flexible meeting rooms that can be booked separately or together for board meetings, private dinners and events.
A Hotel Full of Personality
Andrew Khoo, Chairman of Immersive Hospitality Management, comments:
“The opening of Hyde & Seek, London Hyde Park, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, represents an exciting new chapter for Immersive Hospitality Management and the culmination of an ambitious transformation project. We’re incredibly proud to be bringing new life to such an iconic London building and creating a hotel that celebrates the character, creativity and diversity of this unique neighbourhood.”
Paul Davies, General Manager of Hyde & Seek, London Hyde Park, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, adds:
“We’re looking forward to welcoming our very first guests this September and introducing them to a hotel that’s full of personality. Whether joining us for a weekend in London, afternoon tea overlooking Hyde Park, cocktails with friends or simply somewhere to relax after exploring the city, we want every guest to feel genuinely at home and leave with a memorable experience.”
We’re excited to be working with Hyde & Seek as it enters this next chapter, bringing its distinctive story, design and dining offering to the forefront of the UK hospitality landscape. As a new addition to Palm’s portfolio, the hotel offers plenty to explore, from its eclectic interiors and Hyde Park setting to its two new food and beverage concepts, and we’re looking forward to sharing more from Hyde & Seek as it opens its doors this September.
