Mollie’s Awarded Four-Star Status for Oxfordshire and Bristol Hotels

Mollie’s Awarded Four-Star Status for Oxfordshire and Bristol Hotels

Mollie’s, the value-luxe hotel and diner brand, has reached a major milestone with both its Oxfordshire and Bristol locations officially awarded four-star status by VisitEngland.

VisitEngland Recognition Marks a Key Milestone

The VisitEngland star rating is a trusted benchmark for UK travellers, offering a clear and reliable indication of hotel quality and overall guest experience. Four-star accreditation is awarded to properties achieving scores between 70–84%, with Mollie’s Oxford securing 79% and Mollie’s Bristol achieving 80%. The results reflect consistently high standards across facilities, service and attention to detail.

Design-Led Stays at Accessible Price Points

The recognition further cements Mollie’s position as a standout hospitality brand delivering design-led stays at accessible price points. Inspired by classic American roadside motels and drive-in diners, Mollie’s combines nostalgic elements, from red neon signage to an easy-going, welcoming atmosphere, with contemporary comforts such as digital check-in, a bespoke Mollie’s app and stylish, high-quality rooms.

Guest Experience and Comfort Praised

VisitEngland’s assessment highlighted the strength and consistency of the Mollie’s offer, with particular praise for bedroom comfort and design. Beds and bedding were noted as standout features, underlining the brand’s focus on sleep as a core pillar of the guest experience. Rooms blend contemporary interiors with carefully selected furnishings, including pieces from Conran and luxury Hypnos mattresses.

Attention to Detail Across Rooms and Amenities

Bathrooms and in-room amenities were also commended, with strong feedback on shower quality, water pressure and fast, reliable WiFi throughout the hotels. High standards of housekeeping and the friendliness of Mollie’s teams were recognised as key strengths, with service across reception and the diner described as consistently professional and welcoming. Premium touches such as Dyson hairdryers and Cowshed bathroom products further elevate the guest experience.

Following the success of its current locations, Mollie’s continues to expand its UK footprint. Its first city-centre hotel is set to open in Manchester in early 2026, with an Edinburgh site also currently in the pipeline, marking the next phase of growth for the fast-evolving hospitality brand.
