Government announces December 2021 financial support for hospitality industry
On 21st December 2021, the government has unveiled a £1bn fund of cash grants of up to £6,000 per business for hospitality and leisure businesses in England. The grants can be applied through, and will be administered by, local authorities.
Eligibility
Eligibility applies, although has not yet been specified. However, businesses that have been awarded grants historically are likely to be eligible.
The government will also cover the cost of Statutory Sick Pay for Covid-related absences for small and medium-sized employers (less than 250 staff) across the UK
