Salary Targeting and Employee Ownership
In 2022, Palm is starting the process of giving all employees control over their salary. All team members are given total transparency on their team’s finances and the opportunity to set the salary they want to achieve, with support from the senior team and new business department to hit these goals.
All employees, regardless of their role or position, are given share options in the company, free-of-charge, after they have been with the business for two years. This gives all staff a stake and a voice in the business that they work so hard to make a success. There’s also a cash bonus for all members of staff that have been at Palm for two or more years, which increases every year.
Professional Development and In-House Training
The progression of the team is the number one focus of the agency. Each member of staff has their own career goals and meets with the senior team once a month to ensure their professional and financial development remains on track.
This is backed by Palm’s in-house training programme: The Palm Academy of Disruption. As well as giving tailored training to employees so that they can fill any gaps they may have in their own skillset, it also trains the whole agency in the latest developments in the media industry. This guarantees that everyone is equipped to excel in a changing media landscape and ensures that Palm’s service delivers real results for its clients.
Mental Health
Palm has its own Mental Health Committee, which works with the whole agency to support and safeguard the team’s wellbeing at work.
