The Palm Internship Programme

A scheme that provides genuine training to the individuals taking part” – PR Week

If you’re a bright and ambitious individual looking to start out in the world of Communications, then we want to hear from you!

Our Work Experience Programme is designed to immerse participants in the communications industry through a course that allows individuals to understand the integral skills required for a successful career in the industry.

Throughout their placement, individuals will shadow and support a member of the Palm team, receiving on-the-job training from their mentor and the agency as a whole.

Participants will develop their understanding of seven key areas:

  • Creativity
  • Writing
  • Team Work
  • Time Management
  • Press Relations
  • Social Media
  • Professional Presentation

The role is based solely in the Palm office in Shoreditch to ensure maximum development and learning. It is part time so individuals can balance the role with studying and other professional commitment. Participants will work four days a week, for four hours a day. The role is paid at the minimum wage rate.

If you think that you could benefit from our training programme, then drop us a line at jake.evans@palm-pr.comwith your CV and a cover letter telling us why you would like to apply.

I’ve had a lot of internships since moving to London, where cleaning and getting coffee were all I was trusted to do. However, my time at Palm was very different. Their lovely team were keen to understand what I wanted out of my placement, rather than what they could get out of me. I learned so much at the agency about the day to day life of a Communications Executive. I truly feel that my experience at Palm has equipped me well for my current job, and being able to talk about that experience in an interview is, I feel, the reason why I was able to secure my position. If you want to really learn about Communications, Palm PR is the agency you should intern with.” – Sophie Muir
